Riots are awesome? XD

Currently feeling: awake awake

There was a loud riot outside the parliament building here in Reykjavík yesterday. It lasted from around noon till about 3am. Cops were there, and the riot police too, macing everyone and somehow especially aiming at photographers. People brought things to make noise, like pots and pans and things to hit them with. I saw a picture of one guy who brought a whole drumset.

But since I'm so peaceful, I just sat at home and knitted. XD

i read about that this morning! apparently 20 people got arrested and they resorted to chucking snowballs at police and like... broke windows of the parliament building?

i dunno if thats recent or not but.. man ive seen icelandic windows and thats pretty hardcore that they broke windows.

I think it was a bit over 20 people who got arrested, and one of them was an 11 year old kid XD And yeah they broke a bunch of windows.
