I'm kind of in the mood to shitsmack the prejudice out of people and teach them the beauty of every single human being. Of course there are people who do horrible things that you MIGHT find something pretty in, but I'm talking about the ones left out. I was youtubing and checking out some Christina Aguilera videos, and stumbled upon the video to Beautiful (an amazing song by the way). And there I saw a comment that just knocked my jaw through the floor and right down to the first floor.
The person simply said; I hate how some people can't accept that gay people offends others. Why are gay people so kept and coddled? Why can't anyone express a negitive thought about gays? It has to go both ways.
I simply replied; It's just that some people don't understand how some people let other people's love offend them.
First off, coddled? Seriously? Yeah. That's probably why people get beat up for their love of someone else, just because that someone else is of the same sex. I've never heard of someone getting beat up, or even worse, killed, 'cause they're straight. Have you? I don't really get why people like spending so much energy on hating something that doesn't really make sense to hate. It's only because people LET the love of the gay, bisexual and (insert all other sexual orientation titles) bother them.
Why can't anyone express a negative thought about gays? JESUS. So this guy's never heard ANYONE say ANYTHING bad about gays? He must live in a fucking Tupperware box for Pete's sake!! It's SIMPLY because it sometimes becomes so violent that, as I said before, people get beat up and are even hospitalized, or die. And it's so ridiculous to be offended by other people's love that my head is spinning and I feel like someone's scrambling my brain and about to deepfry it Q_o
This makes just as much sense as if I was offended by the existence of toast.
Seriously. Make more sense people.
By watching this video and reading the comments, I realized more and more how I would like to teach people how to see that every human being is beautiful in their own way. Maybe I'm just a snotnosed hippie sh*t, but this is how I feel. I'm a peaceloving hippie, and I'm f*cking proud of it.
Learn to love everyone, and you'll feel really good. Seriously. Even the people you can't stand.
And for the love of Blawg, don't be a smartass wiseguy butthole on the internet, it's not funny X_x
